Originally named Hael Dol Café, the space evolved through trials and reinvention. In 1971, it was reborn as Amber Café “Amber,” meaning vast, limitless, and eternal. With handmade ceramic tiles and Himachal-inspired interiors, its design became so iconic that even the University of Allahabad’s Faculty of Art would study it.
